Welcome to Fitzroy Community & Sports Clubs (SA)

Established in 1987, Fitzroy Community Club Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation based at Sam Johnson Sportsground in the Hindmarsh Ward, City of Charles Sturt. Fully licensed and open seven days a week, the Club proudly serves its members and wider community. Fitzroy is home to several affiliated sporting groups, including the Fitzroy Football Club, Fitzroy Cricket Club, Fitzroy Netball Club, Fitzroy Darts & Fitzroy 8Ball Club. In addition to supporting these teams, the Club offers its facilities year-round to community groups, private organisations, and other sporting associations. Fitzroy promotes an inclusive and community-focused environment that encourages participation in sport and social activities. Over the years, the Club has become a vibrant hub for local residents, strengthened by the ongoing support of members, volunteers, sponsors, and all levels of government. Looking ahead, Fitzroy aims to continue growing participation, enhacing community engagement and maintaining its role as a valued and welcoming part of the local community.
