We warmly welcome the commitment from the Member for Croydon Peter Malinauskas, candidate for Croydon, of $100,000 in financial support towards the proposed redevelopment of the Sam Johnson Sportsground Scoreboard – The RoarBoard Project.

This is a significant and much-needed investment in our club and our community, that reflects the strength, pride and growth of our club.
The installation of a new, fully electronic LED scoreboard that:
• Enables real-time scoring for football and cricket
• Supports community messaging, safety notices, and local organisation promotions
• Allows the club and Council to run movie nights, school events, and community activation programs
• Improves visibility, accessibility, and volunteer safety
• Strengthens participation and connection across juniors, women’s sport, multicultural groups, and local families
