About Fitzroy Community Club Inc. Established in 1987, Fitzroy Community Club Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation located at Sam Johnson Sportsground in the Hindmarsh Ward, within the City of Charles Sturt. Fully licensed and operating seven days a week, the Club serves both its members and the broader community. Fitzroy is home to a number of affiliated sporting groups including the Fitzroy Men’s and Women’s Football Clubs, Fitzroy Junior Football Club, Fitzroy Cricket Club, Fitzroy Breakaway Netball Club, and Fitzroy Darts Club. In addition to supporting these clubs, Fitzroy offers its facilities year-round for use by community groups, private organisations, and other sporting associations. We are proud of our inclusive, diverse, and community-focused environment, and actively encourage participation in both sport and social events. Over the past 30 years, Fitzroy has become a hub for local residents, with growing support from members, sponsors, and all levels of government. We look forward to expanding participation and continuing to be a valued part of the community.
